VENUE OF THE EVENT ON OCT 12th, 20th & NOV 9th 2019

Adj to Mansukh Sweets
1) Coloring (Batches L & U): Duration 30 mts
The specific theme sheet would be given to the participant on the competition date. The participant has to color the same using Wax crayons or Oil Pastels only. Sketch can be used only for outlining, if used.
2) Rhymes (Tamil/English) (Batches L & U)– Duration 2 mts
The participant can recite only one rhyme either in English or Tamil. The rhyme has to be written on a piece of paper along with the participant and given to the judge. Props can also be used if required.
3) Fancy Dress (Batches L & U) – Duration 2 mts
The participant has to dress according to the given theme.
Ample time will be given to the kids for dressing if the same participant is in rhymes too.
4) Count & Match (Batch L) – Duration 10 mts
The participant will be given some simple figures. The participant has to count and match the respective given number. (Only 1 – 10 numbers are applicable)
5) Memory Game (Batch L) – Duration 1 mt
One parent will be allowed with the participant. The participant will be shown a list of items for a minute. He/she will remember all and say the same to the parents who will write and give the paper back.
6) Identification of Festivals (Batch U) – Duration 10 mts.
List of festivals (around 5-8 Regional and National) (in the form of pictures) and associated items will be given in the form of match the following. The participant has to correctly match the pairs
7) Numbers Writing (Batch U) – Duration 10 mts
Batch U – The participant needs to write from 1-100.
Checked box paper will be given at the venue for all the batches. The exam pads and writing materials need to be brought by the participants.
8) Drawing (Batches A, B, C, D) – Duration 1 hr
The participants need to draw and color for the respective theme. Either Wax crayons or Oil pastels can be used. Other coloring material will not be considered for judgement if used. Sketches can be used for outlining alone. Quarter size Chart will be given at the venue. Participants need to bring Exam pads and other drawing and coloring materials.
9) Identify & Name the festivals (Batch A) – Duration 10 mts
A list of 5 to 8 festivals (Religious and National) (in the form of pictures) will be given. The participant needs to write the name of the festivals within the given time.
10) Number Writing in Reverse (Batch A), Tables Writing (Batch B)– Duration 10 mts
Batch A – The participant needs to write from 100 – 1 (Reverse of 1-100)
Batch B - The participant needs to write from 2 to 10 tables.
Four ruled paper will be given for all the batches. The exam pads and writing materials need to be brought by the participants.
11) Tamil Proverbs Recitation (Batch A & B) – Duration 2 to 3 mts
Batch A – The participant needs to recite 10 Tamil proverbs.
Batch B – The participant needs to recite 20 Tamil Proverbs.
The list of proverbs needs to be written on a piece of paper and given to judge while reciting.
12) Word Game (Batches A, B, C) – Duration 5 mts
Batch A – One Grid Many Words: The participant will be given a box of letters from which the participant needs to write as many words as possible within the given time.
Batch B – One Big to Many Small Words: One Big word will be given and the participant has to write as many words from the word as possible within the given time.
Batch C – One Letter to Many Words: The participant will be given one letter from which he or she has to write as many words as possible starting with the given letter within the given time. No proper nouns can be used.
13) One Minute Talk (Batch B) – Duration 1 mt
The participant has to talk about the given topic for the given time.
14) English / Tamil Handwriting (Batches C & D) – Duration 15 mts each
The participant can take part in either or both the handwritings. Single ruled sheets will be given. The text to be copied will also be given, The participants need to bring Exam pads and writing material.
15) One Minute Game (Batches C & D)
The participant will be given an activity that needs to be done within a minute. The winner will be based on which participant gives a maximum count in an activity.
16) Bharathiyar Songs (Batches C & D) – Duration 3 mts
The participant can sing any one Bharathiyar Song. The lyrics need to be written on a piece of paper and given to the judge during recitation.
17) Mehendi (Batch D) – Duration ½ hour
The participant can make any mehendi design on the partner’s hand (on both sides of a single hand – till the elbow).
